Cymer is dedicated to being a valued corporate citizen and partner in the communities where our employees work and live. In 2011, for the first time, we expanded our community outreach program beyond San Diego to all six Cymer regional locations around the world: China, Europe, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan. Through company financial donations, countless employee hours of volunteering at events, and our employee Matching Gifts and Volunteer Incentive programs, Cymer was able to make an impact felt around the world.

Grant and scholarship funding was provided to targeted organizations who are committed to improving local education, health, culture, environment and civic initiatives. Events such as the San Diego Science Festival, UCSD Luau and Longboard, and the San Diego Zoo Food and Wine Celebration were opportunities for Cymer to increase kids’ excitement about technology, raise funding and awareness in the search for a cure for cancer, and protect and enhance conservation efforts for wildlife around the world.
