eradyne is the world’s largest manufacturer of automatic test equipment (ATE) for the electronics and telecommunications industries. Products include systems to test semiconductors, circuit boards, telephone lines and networks, and software. The Company is also a leading manufacturer of backplanes and associated connectors used in electronic systems. Teradyne sells these products primarily through a direct worldwide sales organization and supports them through extensive service and applications engineering networks, with technical centers located throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia’s Pacific Rim. Teradyne was founded in 1960 and became a publicly owned company in 1970. Its stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol TER.
